Magnetic switches can be used for all applications where the position of a machine or component needs to be measured without direct physical contact. The switch responds to a passing magnet. Constant switching distances of the switches and fixed positioning of the magnet provide very precise position measurement. The actual switching process takes place via reed contacts designed as make contact, make contact or changeover contact. All contacts are located in a stable housing that is additionally protected from external influences by cast resin.
