The Multigauge 5500 metal thickness gauge is designed for hands-free use when climbing scaffolds, ladders or accessing via rope. Whether aboard a ship, on large storage tanks, on a tanker truck or during inspections under a bridge, the 5500 measures thickness with ease. The gauge uses multiple echoes to ignore coatings up to 6 mm thick. It can be attached to a lap belt or chest harness for rope access. The top-mounted display ensures that readings are clearly visible even in difficult measurement and lighting conditions. A protective leather bag is also available.
