This Hikmicro thermal imaging camera features a 96×96 pixel thermal camera. Due to the "Super IR" resolution, the ECO-V has an extra sharp image, which can be compared to a resolution of 240×240 thermal pixels. The "Super IR" provides a digital enhancement of pixels through extremely clever software. This allows the original 96×96 pixels to be converted to 240×240 pixels. In addition to the thermal camera, this ECO-V also has an optical camera so that the outline of the normal image can be seen through the thermal image. This is called ee fusion image (aka MSX technology) and provides an even better, clearer and sharper image. With a "Fusion" image, details can be observed extremely accurately. The Hikmicro ECO-V also features a laser pointer to make it even easier to see at a glance where the thermal camera is pointed.
