Trafag electronic pressure switches

Mechanical pressure switches have long been the solution for process control in manufacturing processes. Today, the control of such processes is increasingly digital instead of analog. Moreover, these modern pressure transmitters from Trafag and Müller make it possible to collect data and continuously measure the pressure of the process. Connecting and implementing an analog pressure signal to an electronic control unit (for example, a PLC) has higher costs than using a direct switching output. A user can incorporate many switching contacts into a system for the cost of a single analog input, allowing many more pressure switching points to be monitored and controlled for the same cost. In addition, digital pressure switches have higher flexibility and reliability than mechanical switches. Depending on the specific digital switch, they offer one or two output signals a data logger function and an analog output.
